Jose Pelayo, D.C. Founder, Chief Executive Officer, and PNS Board Member, is an entrepreneurial executive with a successful history of developing and operationalizing innovative business models, organizational structures, and strategic plans in the healthcare industry. He has four decades of experience across several areas within the healthcare environment, focusing on the sectors of Practice Management, Management Service Organizations (MSOs), Medicare Advantage Organizations, and Third-Party Administration.
Dr. Pelayo received his Doctorate Degree from New York Chiropractic College. He developed seven Medical and Chiropractic practices throughout South Florida, which he would later expand to become affiliated practices of the MSOs.
As one of the founders and a Board Member of PNS, he is actively involved in the company’s overall strategic direction. Under his leadership, PNS has increased and enhanced its specialty network offerings serving over 3.6 million lives on behalf of many of the major health plans in Florida and as a major player in the Puerto Rico market (PNS-PR).
